HUNTING PACKAGES - GENERAL INFORMATION

You are guaranteed an opportunity to shoot a whitetail deer, ram, or other game you are hunting for. Our experienced hunting guides give you the best opportunity to take an animal on your hunting trip!

Our hunting preserve is located 4 miles south of Lyndon KS and 30 miles south of Topeka KS on Hwy 75.

Yes, there is no age limit as long as they are accompanied by an adult or guardian.

Our hunting preserve has 360 hunting blinds that are enclosed and heated. We will get you to the stands in UTVs and make it the best we can, as the animals will be moving.

It is a managed, fenced hunting area which allows us to oversee the wildlife population, introduce selected genetics and control pressure on the animals. Our hunting preserve is 350 acres with approximately 4 miles of fence, with paths in and out of hunting blinds

Although we also offer free range hunts, the preserve hunts allow the hunter to maximize time spent in the field. It is no secret that chasing a trophy can take years feeding, managing property, scouting, controlling predators, keeping trespassers out, as well as just trying to find time during your busy schedule.

BOOKING YOUR TROPHY HUNT

We require $1000 per hunter to book the reservation. The deposit is credited towards your overall hunt price. Price in full will be paid at end of the hunt.

We will do our best to accommodate you on another date, close to your original schedule, as we know things just come up that cannot be changed. If that is not possible, we can move your deposit to another date in the next hunting season with no penalty. We keep your deposit until the next returned hunt.

We accept Master Card and Visa, cash and cashier’s checks. Credit card payments will add additional 3% for service charges. Plus 7.5% Sales Tax

We are a hunting preserve, so you do not need a non-resident Kansas hunting license to hunt our land. 

No, you will have paid for the animal class you have chosen to harvest, which will be adjusted if wanting to upgrade or add on. Everything is included in our price except, 7.5% sales tax and gratuity for your guide or cooks that help make your stay, although not required they are greatly appreciated. We can help with getting your Trophy to the taxidermist, whom which will inform you of their fees.

HUNTING LODGE

Clothing for appropriate weather, toiletries, weapon of choice (unless you would like to use ours.) We supply all other items needed such as pillows, linens, towels, food and drinks.

Yes, let us know when you make your reservations if you would like to add a guest. Depending on space availability, we can make arrangements for $125/night.

We will have muffins, fruit and snacks, as well as coffee, juice, milk, soft drinks and water available before you head out in the morning. Once you return we will serve you an early hot lunch. Once you return from your evening hunt, we will provide dinner and drinks to enjoy the evening. There are always sandwiches, chips and snacks available for any other time you may get hungry.

Yes, our lodge area has Wi-Fi. We also get relatively good phone service in the area for most service providers.

HUNTING & EQUIPMENT

The average shot is 75-250 yards.

Yes, there is a bench with a lead sled at the lodge which can be used to make sure your rifle is still on target. We also have bow targets.

We use 7×7 360 Series Hunting Blinds on an 8 foot tower stand. They have both bow and rifle shaded windows.

Yes, we have plenty of deer, as well as Trophy Horned rams to shoot.

Depending on the hunters’ desire, since this is your hunt, but we suggest heading out for morning hunts before daylight and usually come in mid-morning. Afternoon hunts are typically planned for late afternoon and usually stay in the stand until dark.

TROPHY ANIMAL CARE

Our guides will retrieve your trophy and get plenty of photos. We will then transport him to the skinning shed where he will be skinned to transport to our recommended local taxidermist, or shipped to yours.

No, but we work with an experienced local taxidermist, which you can see some of his mounts around the lodge. If you are planning to take your trophy elsewhere for taxidermy, we can cape out the head and provide measurements for your taxidermist.
