At Kansas Trophy Outfitters, we’ve been hunting our whole lives, so we know what hunters want when they book an elk, ram, or whitetail deer hunt. Part of the reason that KTO has seen such success over the years is because we provide an experience for hunters, by hunters.
Our high-fence hunts take place on a 385-acre plot of land that is surrounded by approximately four miles of fence. All throughout the property, there are various paths to explore that feature hunting blinds so that our guests can post up and await their game, just as they would in the open field. The big difference between a hunt with Kansas Trophy Outfitters and one you plan yourself is that you’re guaranteed a shot opportunity with KTO.
During your hunt, your guide will help you and your party navigate our expansive reserve and assist in getting you set up for the perfect shot with your hunting rifle, bow or crossbow. Most of our guests opt to hunt whitetail deer, but the beauty of hunting with KTO is that we carefully manage a large population of big rams, American bison, water buffalo, ibex, Watusi, and other big game and exotic animals.
We can customize our hunting packages specifically for our clients, which a lot of other places can’t. This makes for a more exciting and personalized hunting experience, but the fun doesn’t stop once you’ve bagged and tagged your game. Kansas Trophy Outfitters offers so much more than that.
Kansas Hunting Lodge and Accommodations
After a successful day of hunting, there’s nothing better than kicking back with friends and family in a relaxing setting, and we feel we have one of the best hunting lodges in Kansas.
Located in beautiful Lyndon, Kansas, the Country Lakes Bed & Breakfast is surrounded by tranquil wildlife and scenery that make it easy for any hunter to take a load off and relax. The B&B is located close to the outdoor recreational activities of Melvern Lake. Many of our guests like to go fishing or boating in between hunts.
Our farmhouse B&B, which has been converted into a hunting lodge, is open year-round and includes everything a hunter would need after a challenging day of high fence hunting. Inside, you’ll find comfy beds, a fire pit, a rec room with a full-sized refrigerator, multiple couches, big screen TVs, a poker table and a pool table.
It’s the perfect spot to relax with friends when you’re unwinding from a long day of hunting. So whether your game is poker, pool, or fishing, or you simply want to relax in front of the TV, the team at Kansas Trophy Outfitters has you covered.
Comfort Food
Meals are included with all of our hunting packages. When you stay at our lodge, you’ll be treated to a continental breakfast every morning with hearty home-cooked lunches and dinners of meats, potatoes, and veggies.
Our savory, farm-to-table meals will satisfy even the biggest appetites so that you and your group are properly fueled for a big day out on the hunt. We take our food seriously at Kansas Trophy Outfitters, so rest assured there are plenty of snacks and drinks available. Our guests also have access to a full kitchen and propane grill. So, feel free to load up the lodge with your favorite brews and meats so you can host your own cook-out. And the fire pit is perfect for roasting s’mores.
Tons of Room for Large Groups
The hunting lodge at Kansas Trophy Outfitters is made to accommodate large parties of up to 20 guests. We have a total of six bedrooms (with a main floor master suite) with two full bathrooms and two half-bathrooms. The bed sizes range from twin size all the way up to king. Cable TV, WiFi network, and washer/dryer are also included in the lodging. The following is a breakdown of our bedrooms located at the lodge.
Main floor bedroom (sleeps two): This is the master suite, which is located on the main floor of the farmhouse. Includes a king-size bed and full bathroom.
Turkey Room (sleeps two): This bedroom features a king-size bed and shares a full bathroom with the Bear Room and Moose Room.
Bear Room (sleeps four): This is one of the larger bedrooms offered in the lodge, and includes a queen-size bed and two twin beds. It shares a full bathroom with the Turkey Room and Moose Room.
Moose Room (sleeps three): This bedroom features a queen-size bed and a twin-size bed. It shares a full-size bathroom with the Turkey Room and Bear Room.
Farmhouse Room (sleeps five): This large bedroom houses a queen-size bed and three twin beds. This room shares a bathroom with the Whitetail Room.
Whitetail Room (sleeps four): Open to the Farmhouse Room and made to accommodate four people. This room shares a bathroom.
